Technology showcase

Welcome to my technology showcase. It is my intention to offer relevant demonstrations of new technologies, including XML, XSLT, DOM/SAX, SOAP and UDDI. Most demos requires Microsoft Internet Explorer (MSIE).

  1. GSM cell tracker demo
    connect GSM cell ID to a LatLong location, visualised in SVG
  2. Location based services (LBS)
    A location logger based on Tourist Compass, a context-aware mobile personal assistant, using SVG and Javascript (Requires the Adobe SVG viewer)
  3. Currency conversion demo
    using XML and XSLT
  4. Filtering demo
    using XML, XSLT and XPath
  5. Vector graphics demo
    using SVG and Javascript, demo I, demo II, demo III. (Requires the Adobe SVG viewer)
  6. Personalisable XML messages
    in a procurement scenario, based on the EANCOM standard for order, order response, despatch advice and invoice. (Requires MSXML)
  7. EAN XForms demonstration
    using XSLT and ASP.NET: intelligent forms generated from the XML schema for procurement messages. This is a typical example of schema centric development: forms, stylesheets and documentation can be generated from the schema. (For a demonstration, send an e-mail)
  8. The game of SET
    in C# on the ASP.NET platform
  9. The GigaTS B2B2ME demonstrator
    a demonstration of the web service concept and the underlying technology: the standards, discovery and dynamic service invocation. (Available upon request via e-mail )
  10. Web service demonstration
    of a business information service, both the service and a client application are available. The service is written in C# on the .NET platform, but the discovery and invocation is language and platform independent.
  11. Adaptive XML documents
    to the wishes of the reader and the capabilities of the device, using XML and XSLT
  12. WSDL visualizer
    shows WSDL interface definitions as an interactive SVG graphic.
  13. GigaTS ebXML demonstrator
    that animates collaborative business using scalable vector graphics (SVG).
